Apple 2025 MacBook Pro Laptop with M5 chip
The starter 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 is the one I think most people will be looking at, and for good reason. Even if Apple’s chart makes it look like the M4 model, you’re still getting the same starting price with faster SSD performance and better RAM performance, plus the overall M5 CPU/GPU gains. If you’re coming from something like an M1-era machine, this is a really nice upgrade—just don’t feel pressured if you’re already on M4 or M3.
