Apple 2024 MacBook Pro Laptop with M4 Pro

This is essentially the kind of M4 Pro MacBook Pro setup I’ve been using, and the speed has been ridiculous for my Final Cut Pro workflow. For editing, exporting, thumbnails, and motion graphics, it’s been a monstrous productivity machine that rarely slows down.

Pros

+Incredibly fast performance for editing and creative work
+Great display, keyboard, and trackpad for daily usability
+Rarely audible fans even in challenging temperatures

Cons

-Internal storage must be configured upfront (no upgrading later)
-Bluetooth headphones can cause major lag in editing (in my experience)
