My First 100 Mile Ultra! (23k Vert) // UTE 100, La Sal Mountains, Moab, UT

I’ve been eyeing the UTE 100 ultra trail race for a couple years and leading up to it, running 100 miles seemed huge to me! Don’t get me wrong, running 100 miles is huge, but for me this seemed daunting because it’s my first 100 miler. So many unknowns, so much to concur. The UTE 100 is just over 100 miles of mountain trail racing with over 23000 ft of elevation gain. With such a daunting task and opportunity ahead, how did my first 100 mile ultra trail race go?
