The 2024 Acura Integra Type S is the version we hoped for. Built in the US, it is essentially an American Civic Type R with luxurious features and a revamped exhaust system. Since both the engine and vehicle will be built in Ohio primarily for the North American market, this could lead to wider availability of the Type S than the Civic Type R. Although it may not translate to higher production numbers (The Type R is popular!), it could lead to a better supply/demand curve that reduced extreme dealer mark ups as seen with the Civic Type R. Don't expect a production ramp up until late 2023/2024, though, so until then dealer mark ups will hurt. However... since the TLX Type S is expected to be only about $5k more than the Integra Type S - I believe that buyers will balk at big mark ups and consider the TLX.
