The easiest kitchen trick you didnโt know you needed ๐๐ Just a quick blanch, an ice bath, and those tomato skins slide right off like they had somewhere else to be. Perfect for sauces, soups, and recipes where you want that silky smooth texture without the peel. Instructions 1. Fill a medium saucepan halfway with water, bring to a boil. 2. While waiting for the water to boil, fill a medium mixing bowl with cold water and few ice cubes. 3. Using a sharp paring knife, score an โXโ in the bottom of each tomato. 4. When the water comes to a boil, drop 1-2 tomatoes into the saucepan. 5. Before careful to not crowd the pot. Boil for 30-45 seconds. 6. Using tongs, remove and plunge into ice water. Allow to sit for 1 minutes before removing to a plate. 7. Skin should easily peel off the tomato. #KitchenHacks #CookingTips #TomatoSeason #HomeCooking #FoodieTips https://www.savoryexperiments.com/how-to-peel-a-tomato/
