But here’s why I’m not using it: it breaks a core security rule I live by. Apple’s Passwords app is ultimately protected by your phone’s passcode/Face ID, which turns your device passcode into the single key for your entire digital life. Stolen Device Protection helps, but it doesn’t fix the main issue: if someone gets your passcode, they can get everything.
