In this video I’m doing a NEW IN ASOS try-on haul all about date night outfits for A/W 2021. If you’re anything like me, you want pieces that feel a bit sexy but still wearable—so I’m trying on loads of black staples (because obviously) with little details that make them look more expensive, like square necklines, metal hardware, eyelets and cut-outs. It’s very much that “jeans and a nice top” energy, but upgraded for nights out, dinners, and last-minute plans. I run through a mix of crop tops and bodysuits and show how they work with different bottoms like skorts, tailored trousers and leather-look leggings. The main takeaway is that you don’t need a million new outfits—just a few solid tops that fit well and a couple of go-to black bottoms you can rotate. I also included one pop of colour with a red crop top because it’s such an easy way to switch up the vibe without overthinking it.
