The GTX 1070 8GB Graphics Card

Graphics cards on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3PzlHq5 Today we’re taking a look at the GTX 1070 8GB graphics card and more specifically, the Gigabyte Gaming 8G. At the end of 2024 this once mid range to almost higher end GPU is more of a tight budget used graphics card option because there's just so many more used options available. That being said, you can really pick these up for super deals locally depending on where you live. I like this GPU for entry level or budget gaming systems since you do have that 8gb of video memory and you can leverage resolution scaling or FSR to squeeze out some more performance. The GTX 1070 GPU features 1,920 CUDA cores, 120 texture mapping units, and 64 ROPs, and 8 gigabytes of GDDR5 which operates at 8gbps. The memory bus width is 256 bit which was decent at the time and still is on the modern GPUs. As for the Gaming 8G model that I have here, there is a slight pre-overclock, the boost clock is 1,822MHz in the OC mode and 1,784 in the normal Gaming mode. Like I said, I think buying this card used at a lower price will really shine for a budget gaming build in early 2025. As for the video displays, we have 1 HDMI 2.0b and 3 total DisplayPort 1.4 ports and you can use any 3 video outputs at once.
