Arctic Freezer i35-ARGB CPU Cooler: https://amzn.to/3Idas3t Today we’re taking a look at the Arctic i35-ARGB Tower Heatsink. The i35 is a budget friendly but capable cooler that you can get in either the standard variant, the CO or continuously operational variant which has a longer 24/7 operating lifespan on the CPU fan, or the ARGB version which I have here. Arctic sent this over for review so I will be checking it out on my Intel Alder Lake i5-12600K gaming rig. I’ll be going through what’s included, the specs, the build quality, and my overall opinion on the i35-ARGB. The i35 consists of a four direct touch heatpipe design with 54 aluminum fins to help dissipate heat. It weighs in at 746 grams and measures in at 91mm long, 133mm wide, and 158.5mm tall. The cooler achieves a no interference type of compatibility in terms of memory height because the heatsink is slightly offset away from the memory dimms and the fan itself is not overly thick. The fan shroud won’t block any memory including the first dimm slot on a traditional 4 slot style motherboard. The i35-ARGB has a sleek appearance in my opinion as Arctic chose to create it with a black coating on the outside edges of the fins and the shroud is also all back. The fan built into the shroud is a 120mm fan. The fan can spin as low as 200rpms and all the way up to 1700rpms where the fan will put out a maximum of .35 sone or somewhere between 14 to 16 dba worth of sound. Arctic describes the fan as having the advantages of the pressure optimized models while still remaining quiet and efficient. The fan is of course illuminated with addressable RGB, the fan uses a 4 pin pwm and a 3 pin 5v RGB power and RGB connection. The i35 comes with a 6 year warranty which should give you peace of mind that you can re-use this cooler with any future compatible platforms. The installation was relatively easy which I did appreciate. Assembling the backplate and standoffs was a breeze. I installed the heatsink outside of the case which I generally recommend but with access to the back side of the motherboard it can also be done inside of the case. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥 Looking for parts?
