The 501 DX is the latest revision in the 500 series of mid towers for Gaming and workstation builds. This case is designed well for air cooling but will absolutely support watercooling and AIOs while maintaining a smaller overall footprint at 17.7 inches long, 9.1inches wide, and 18.23 inches tall while weighing just 17.48lbs. This case features a nice tempered glass window with captive screws on the left side of the window panel. The panel slides on and off quite easily as well. This case is interesting in that it includes 3 140mm PWM Pure Wings 3 fans. These are very high quality fans and they are preinstalled with 1 intake, 1 rear exhaust and 1 top exhaust. These fans can spin up to 1200rpm producing 57.4cfm and the minimum speed and 97.5cfm at max speed with a maximum static air pressure of 0.96mm to H20. These fans are truly quiet too since at max speed they only generate about 22dba which is solid in my opinion for this kind of flow and pressure. These fans and the overall design of the Pure Base 501 DX will definitely allow for some good airflow and pressure for typical air cooling configs.
