Geekom A7 Mini PC: https://amzn.to/3K7qrjI LIMITED TIME COUPON CODE for 6% off: SamtechA7 oday we’re taking a look at the Geekom A7 mini PC. I reached out to Geekom to send this over for review after taking a look at the IT12 mini PC as I think these are super interesting and value packed little devices. The Geekom A7 that I have here today comes equipped with an AMD 7940HS CPU with the Radeon 780M integrated graphics. The 7940HS is a super fast Ryzen mobile CPU featuring 8 cores, 16 threads with boost clocks up to 5.2GHz and a 16mb L3 cache. The Radeon 780M iGPU built into this mini PC is currently the fastest integrated GPU I think, it’s seriously impressive for not being a dedicated GPU in my opinion. The 780m iGPU features 768 shaders, 48 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and some raytracing support with 12 raytracing acceleration core. To be honest, you can't raytrace with this iGPU but it doesn't even matter, you can game with it which is more than enough for me! As for the rest of this system's specs, its coming with a 2TB NVME gen 4 times 4 SSD, 32gb of DDR5600 memory which is a solid choice by Geekom, it will help overall system performance and it will definitely help the iGPU. This system isn’t all about gaming in a tiny form factor though, it's got fairly good desktop performance, no issues driving multiple displays while I work from home and have YouTube and twitch streams open. The whole PC uses about 10w while it's idling, about 16 with just YouTube 4k playback, and about 70w max while gaming. The A7 comes standard with a 2.5gbps Realtek RTL8125GB-CG NIC but it crucially does have a WiFi6e NIC preinstalled. As for the IO on this little guy, we have three total USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A ports, one USB 4 Gen3 type C port, one USB 3.2 gen2 type C port, a single USB 2.0 type a port, that's where you would plug like a hub in for low power accessories, 1 SD card reader which is kind of nice if you want to offload camera footage, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack on the front of the pc, very nice, the 1 ethernet connection, and you get one of those smaller laptop locks which is kind of nice. It’s definitely worth mentioning that the power supply for the A7 is 120watt but it remains very compact and it doesn't get very hot at all even when gaming, that's a super plus in my opinion. Oh, they also supply a nice HDMI cable too. These mini PCs from Geekom are generally all coming with Windows 11, this one specifically has Windows 11 Pro preinstalled. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥 Intel Gaming Build: 14700k: https://amzn.to/3I2gG5f be quiet!
