Pure Power 11 FM: https://amzn.to/3fNZl5p Samsung 980 Pro NVMe PCIe 4.0: https://amzn.to/3fJHAEf Today we're taking a look at the Cooler Master Atmos 240 all in one liquid cooler. Cooler Master had contacted me about reviewing this brand new liquid cooler and it seemed like it was an awesome option for mid range gaming builds so I happily agreed. The Atmos 240 of course has a 240mm radiator and two 120mm fans. I noticed right away when unboxing the Atmos that the fans were preinstalled which was kind of a nice touch there, don't normally see that. The fans included here are the CM Sickleflow Edge 120s, cooler Master says these are the latest version which are capable of pushing 70.7cfm at a maximum rotational speed of 2700rpm with a maximum static pressure rating of 3.61mm to H20. They achieve all of this while staying relatively quiet at 27.2dba per fan. The fans as well as the pump setup have these nicer braided cables, not a performance thing but I did like that attention to detail, they look nice. From the documentation, the pump setup looks to be one of the latest dual chamber designs. The pump runs at just under 4 watts and only outputs up to 14dba worth of sound output. The pump housing does have ARGB support which can be controlled by either your motherboard or the MasterPlus software but Cooler Master is working on building support for these coolers into the MasterCTRL software for a future release. The top piece of the atmos pump housing can be removed allowing you to install custom 3d printed options. I think this is a nice feature to allow for but in my case, I like the stock look so I’m keeping that. In working with the atmos 240 it’s pretty clear this cooler was designed to be a more premium option in the market versus the competition. All of the cabling has nice sheathing on it, the tubes have a nice feel and the fans were even preinstalled. We’re getting pretty much every accessory you could need with an all in one water cooler too, we’ve got a pwm fan power splitter, an argb 3 way splitter cable, an ARGB hub, usb control cabling and 2 tube management clips. With everything being packaged and labeled really well, the separate boxes for the mounting kits and accessories, this was a relatively easy installation. Cooler master even cut down on the overall packaging and size of the boxes to make this more efficient. The installation was very easy, I installed the Atmos 240 into the Cooler Master CMP520 and its cooler my Ryzen 7700X which I have running with PBO enabled. In terms of benchmarking, I ran both Asus RealBench and Prime95 to see what the cooler could offer for my Ryzen 7700X. The ambient temperature during my testing was about 70F or 21C and I ran Realbench and Prime95 for 1 hour to get average core temps and average clockspeeds. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥🔥 Looking for parts?
