Thanks to KingBank for sending these over for us to take a look at. KingBank sells a few different configurations of DDR4 SO-DIMMs for those of us using DDR4 based PCs. You can grab these in 8 or 16gig capacities either at 2666 or 3200MTs which are probably ideal speeds for typical upgrades on these types of PCs. My ASUS Strix from 2020 came with 8GB of memory originally and the first owner tossed in an 8gb DDR4-2400 SODIMM to get the laptop to 16GB. When you mix and match speeds like that, your PC will essentially downclock the system memory to the lower speed of the slowest stick of memory. This was a common thing to do when the laptops were new but now that DDR4 laptops have been on the market for a while and memory prices have come down a lot, you might find that you need another memory upgrade to breathe some life into your machine.
