Thanks to GiGiMundo for sending this over for the video. The GSC drives come in 1 and 2 terabyte versions, both with some beefy heatsink action for keeping the drive cool during the advertised 7,450MB per second read speed and 6,600MB per second write speeds. This NVMe PCI express 4.0 solid state drive utilizes TLC NAND and it’s backed with an SLC cache along with HMB or host memory bus technology. This combined with the firmware on the drive helps keep the drive performing well without the need for traditional DRAM built into the SSD. This will use a small amount of system memory, like under 100mb usually to allow for the drive to perform quite a bit better. The 2TB GSC drive is rated for 600TBW which is plenty for any gamer or enthusiast in terms of endurance.
