Silverstone PF240-ARGB AIO: https://amzn.to/3bSrbeM I reached out to Silverstone for a review unit which they sent over - the PF240 is an ARGB All in one watercooler that features high powered fans with an included RGB controller. In addition to the ARGB fans, the pump block on the PF240 also has ARGB lighting. There’s an included controller but the system is compatible with most motherboards and software control solutions. The included fans are the Silverstone Air Blazer 120 model which boast a maximum airflow of 94CFM at a static pressure of 3.53mm/h2o. The RPM range for this fan starts at 600rpm and goes until 2200rpm. The rated noise scales from 7.4dba at 600rpm up to 35.6dba at max speed. The fans are PWM controlled with ARGB support. The fans both feature a ribbed edge on the fan blades which is to help maximize airflow and pressure. The pump in this unit has a maximum rated speed of 3400rpm at 0.39amps. The pump is a three phase six pole design that Silverstone says allows for quieter operation and better energy efficiency. The included tubing measures in at 400mm or about 1.3feet long. This tubing length with the 240mm size should allow for good mounting options and case compatibility. The pump block combo uses the 4 corner mounting method with a backplate on Intel and for AMD there is a bracket that can be installed to support the included AM4 mounting clips. The P240 ARGB comes in at a competitively priced option in the 240mm AIO market as well as the highend air tower coolers. Let’s take a look at the performance and build quality with the cooler. We’ll start off the stress testing with a 30 minute run for Asus Realbench. At the end of the stress test, the average temperature across the cores was 60.6C. Next up, AIDA64. In this test I ran the CPU stress tests and at the end of the test the cores were averaging about 63.9C. Lastly we’ll take a look at Prime95 running the smallest FFT. At the 30 minute mark the cores temps averaged. Since there was a decent amount of headroom left temperature wise, I set my manual overclock and re-ran the P95 test at 1.37volts. After 30 minutes the cores averaged 92.3C. This seems high but Prime95 is more of an unrealistic torture test, you won't see this kind of load in any other applications. The cooling performance across these stress tests was quite good. 🔥🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥🔥 Looking for parts?
