Be quiet has a long history of making some real quality power supplies, cases, and coolers so I’m very interested to take a look at the straight power 12. In terms of the series lineup, we have a 750watt, 850w, 1 kilowatt, 1200 watt, and a staggering 1500w option, all of which are not only modular but also 80 plus platinum certified meaning these PSUs run with an extremely high efficiency up to 94%. You’ll save a few bucks on the power bill which is nice but most importantly, you’ll have a quality PSU that doesn’t end up getting overly warm when you push the wattage limits because of the improved efficiency and built-in cooling with the silent wings fan technology. I’ll be powering my Ryzen 7700X and RX 7600 gaming rig with the Straight power 12 today, admittedly it's a bit overkill but it definitely leaves me plenty of room to grab a 4090 comfortably and go full watercooling if I wanted. In addition to the very high efficiency, the straight power 12 series is ATX 3.0 compatible meaning we are getting cabling for PCIe 5.0 GPU power or 12VHPWR but no worries if you have an older or current gpu, we have the more common 6+2 power connections also. Just to give you an idea of the build quality, the PSU body or casing is nice and smooth, looks good in my opinion even though most cases will hide the PSU. The modular connections are solid and easy to use and the cables are quite nice too.
