The Pure Loop 2 FX series of all in one watercoolers come in three sizes in order to support most typical gaming builds. There’s the 240mm version, the 280mm version, which I will be reviewing here today, and the 360mm version for beefier CPUs and larger cases. The FX series of products from be quiet all feature ARGB lighting elements in addition to the build quality and top tier designs that we’re used to seeing from be quiet! As for this Pure Loop 2 FX 280mm cooler, I’ll be going through the specs, installation, some cpu and system stress testing, the build quality, and the overall finished look of this be quiet build. The Pure Loop 2 FX cooler will either come with two or three 120mm or 140mm Light Wings PWM fans depending on the rad size you buy. On the 280mm unit that I have here, I have two Light Wings 140mm fans, each pushing a maximum of 56cfm at 1.49mm to H20 worth of static pressure at about 23dba. The Light Wings fans from be quiet! are of course illuminated with the ARGB ring around the edges of the fan blade. These fans were designed to make sure that you weren't being annoyed by your CPU cooler during intense gaming sessions and they definitely live up to the promise. As for the radiator on this AIO, since it's the 280mm version, you’re getting a good sized 317mm long by 27mm thick rad. This is going to help soak up the heat from the liquid in the cooler for the fans to exhaust. In terms of the pump, it can run between 4,000rpms and a maximum of 5,500rmps The fans have standard 3-pin RGB connections and standard 4pin pwm power and signal connections. The pump utilizes a 4-pin pwm power connection as well. The tubing length on the Pure Loop 2 FX series is 400mm which is quite nice because this will give you enough room to position the cooler in most cases while keeping the tubing length under control. As for the overall sound level of the AIO, we’re looking at about 10.8dba at 25% fan RPM, 22.4dba at about 50% rpm which is the sweet spot in my opinion, and for the overclockers out there, 32.8dba at 100%rpm which works out to be roughly 1500rpm on the fans and 5500rpm on the pump. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥 Looking for parts?
