ThermalRight Peerless Assassin 120: https://amzn.to/3OTmZJF Today we will be taking a look at the ultra budget ultra performance Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 heatsink with the lga 1700 mounting kit paired with an i5-12600k. I’ll be going through the specs and installation process, temperature testing both stock and overclocked, the build quality, and my overall impressions of this insanely cheap but huge dual tower cooler. The Peerless Assassin 120 cooler is a rather large dual tower cooler that features x6 6mm heatpipes. In terms of the size of this cooler, you’re looking at a cooler that’s 125mm long, 135mm wide and 157mm tall weighing in at a combined 1,020g of 2.25 freedom pounds. Thermalright lists that there are a total 53 fin layers that are 0.4mm wide spaced about 1.8mm apart. The base is expectedly a copper base with nickel plating. As for the fans, they can push a maximum of 66 cfm at a static pressure rating of 1.53mm to h20 at maximum speed. The fans will top out around 1,550rpm plus or minus 10% at a maximum noise level of 25.6dba which is relatively quiet. The fans are PWM so that's nice too. Moving on to the installation, it wasn't too bad at all. In this case I’m installing and testing with an lga 1700 socket CPU, the 12600k. After getting the backplate in pace and the tower bar mount system setup all I had to do was secure the heatsink then install the fans. I did mention to get a few little nics or surface cuts on my hand during the install but nothing too bad that would scare me away from working with the cooler. As you can see, I didn’t have any issues with my memory installation which is good and everything fits relatively well. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥🔥 Looking for parts?
