2k Outdoor Wireless Surveillance - TP-Link C420 Camera Kit

Tapo C420 Camera Kit: https://amzn.to/3oHuGv7 Security cameras, you need them, that's why you clicked the video! Today we’re taking a look at the Tapo 2K QHD outdoor wireless security camera kit. TP-Link reached out to see if I was interested in creating a video on this system and after learning about it a little bit, I was super interested. This kit or system comes with two C420 cameras and the H200 hub. The C420 cameras support 720p and 1440p video recording at 4 megapixel in addition to audio recording. You can opt for either 15 or 20fps at both resolutions which is awesome. 15fps will save on network bandwidth, storage, and battery power but 20fps will give you a more fluid video playback experience. Both of these cameras are battery powered and wifi enabled. The cameras are sealed up and you can actually install these outdoors which is really nice. The cameras each come with 1 battery pack, they kind of look like camera batteries, I would assume something like an 18650 size maybe? Not sure just guessing. The battery packs can either be charged outside of the camera by usb or inside the camera since the cameras have a sealable USB Micro port. The batteries are rated to last up to 180 days so, you will likely need to recharge these twice a year but that's quite good for a wireless camera. In my setup, I’m thinking about deploying one of the cameras in my garage. It’s a bit colder in there but with a full window at waist height, this is definitely an area I would want on camera.
