The world’s fastest woodchopping athletes are heading to Budapest for one of the most intense formats in the sport. At the 2026 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Trophy, elite TIMBERSPORTS® athletes go head-to-head in a high-speed knockout competition where power, precision and flawless transitions decide who advances. In the Trophy format, athletes race through four disciplines in one continuous run: Stock Saw Underhand Chop Single Buck Standing Block Chop Each heat lasts around one minute. The faster athlete moves on to the next round and the slower athlete is eliminated. One mistake, one missed cut or one slow transition can end an athlete’s entire run. Among the top contenders are some of the biggest names in international TIMBERSPORTS® including Jack Jordan, Kody Steers, Michał Dubicki and Matyáš Klíma. All eyes will be on Jack Jordan, who has won the last three World Trophy titles.
