Wet & Slippery Lake District Ride, Birker Fell in Bad Weather

Join me for another Wet n Wild ride through the Lake District, starting out in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley near Grange before heading across the fells toward Birker Fell and the Hardknott area. In this video I’m dealing with slippy polished tarmac, sudden weather changes, tourist traffic, and some proper bleak but stunning scenery as I make my way east to west across the Lakes. There’s plenty of real-world riding – tight roads, wet surfaces, sheep, cars everywhere, and a reminder of just how quickly conditions can change up here. I also pass one of my favourite little stops – Crosby Bake Shed, a cracking place for a brew, cake, and a proper sausage and bacon bun if you’re ever up this way.
