At DEMA, we had the incredible opportunity to host a roundtable with veteran women Navy divers—trailblazers who literally broke barriers both above and below the surface. From EOD divers defusing danger in extreme conditions to members of the Women Divers Hall of Fame, these women carved paths in a profession that demands courage, grit, and resilience. During the seminar, they shared their journeys candidly, recounting the challenges they faced as women in a male-dominated field, the intense training and dangerous missions, and the moments of triumph that made it all worth it.
