Modern Warfare: Obsidian Challenge Testing - Tips & Thoughts

There’s something strange going on with the challenge tracking of the new obsidian mastery camo Modern Warfare. It says you need to get 15 kills in a match many times, and yet you will often earn progress even if you didn’t reach the next multiple of 15. So what’s really going on with the bugged obsidian challenge? Is it counting assists? Tracking all of your kills in the background? Well, after doing plenty of testing to debunk and investigate the glitch, it seems like yes to that, but also... not really. It wouldn’t be a MW challenge update if everything just worked as written. Although, in this case, I hope the challenge never works as written, because that’d make it much more frustrating and I would lose what remaining interest I had. Towards the second half of the video, I’ll make a time estimate for how long it may take to earn every obsidian base weapon camo, and I’ll share other thoughts on the camo and requirements.
