Modern Warfare: Is Season 1 Rank 155 Easier or Harder? XP Tips

A few things have changed in season 1 of Modern Warfare when it comes to gaining XP to progress through the officer ranks and unlock ribbon challenges. The officer ranks now require more XP, causing some people to get upset about the perceived difficulty change, but I'd like to try to debunk that. I don't believe reaching rank 155 was made any harder, rather they changed how you're meant to approach ranking. The ribbon challenges now award much more XP, so hunting them is more worthwhile, the season is much longer than previous, you may be starting at rank 55, and I'll share other quick XP tips to rank up fast, such as 2XP Trials (with plenty of examples of how to get 3 stars in the background), and making use of all the available XP sources.
