Unsurprisingly, what’s on most people’s mind in the Black Ops Cold War Alpha is the strength of the Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM). Discussion and complains have once again exploded about it, perhaps justifiably so to not have a repeat of last year’s CoD. I wanted to share my personal experience and show some numbers I tracked from my first 35 games. A proper test can’t be done until there’s more time and access to more stats, but I wanted to try to get just a bit more than my personal feeling since so many people disagree on the level of SBMM they’ve been feeling so far.
