Dewalt Drill and Driver Combo
I used the DeWalt drill/driver combo for basically everything that matters in this build: pre-drilling, driving screws, and getting the frame and brackets attached without stripping hardware. When you’re constantly adjusting rails and re-checking alignment, having a reliable drill/driver set just saves time (and frustration).
Pros
- +Good for drilling pilot holes and driving lots of screws during desk assembly
- +Helps speed up repetitive hardware work on a standing desk frame
Cons
- -Not much detail in my video on battery life or torque settings
- -You still need to be careful not to overdrive screws into tabletop material
