In this video, I talk about how to set up your easy run paces based off your race pace. One of the biggest mistakes I see runners making (especially experienced runners) is that they're running their easy runs much too fast. Easy days need to be EASY and hard days need to be HARD. A simple easy pace calculation that gives a fairly accurate range is simply: Add 1:30-2:30/mile OR 1:00-1:30/km onto your race pace to find out what your easy run pace should be.
