Half Marathon Workout - 400's On The Track | Royal Victoria Marathon

This workout was my main focus of the week and worked out to be a great interval session! Here's how the track session broke down: 3k warm up with activation drills and strides Main Set: 5 x 400 @ 1:10 or faster with 1' standing rest 5 x 400 @ 1:10 or faster with 1:15 standing rest 2 x 400 @ 1:10 with 1:45-2' standing rest 3 x 200 @ 32/34/34 with 200m easy jog between Cooldown Eventually I'd like to build this workout into 20 x 400 @ sub 1:10 with 200m easy jog between. I've always found when I'm running fast 400's on relatively short rest, half marathon fitness tends to be good. A little sneak peak into one of my favorite type of interval session for half marathon training. Thanks for watching!
