The Freedom Locker is a super straightforward plug-and-play way to get more out of your factory rear e-locker on a 2007–2014 FJ Cruiser. I like it because the install is basically connector-to-connector under the driver-side dash, and once it’s in, the locker works in 2WD, 4HI, and 4LO just like it should have from the factory.
