WIND wind and more wind !! Adventure riding in Oman Episode 17

Day 7 Episode 17 of my solo Oman Adventure ! The loud sound against the material of my tent kept me up all night. With no sleep the next day I had a rough time getting going. On top of that I had to battle the worst crosswinds I've ever experienced on a bike. There was extreme wind the Entire 286 kms!! With the lack of sleep and fatigue from battling the wind I managed to drop the bike twice in one day !! I swear I know how to ride people !! Both times the bike was still and the first time I wasn't even on the bike ! The KLR was lowered a couple inches but the kick stand wasn't modified so if the ground was completely flat then it was bound to tip. The second time I dropped it the ground was slightly lower on one side, and the bike being too tall for me, It went down. Frustrations starting to grow as I'm so tired AND tired of dropping this damn bike ! I'm a skilled rider and this is really demeaning. 7 days in now, lack of sleep, and going from dusk till dawn is starting to wear on me, but I try and stay positive.
