I managed to make it to the Ferry with enough time to hang out at the dock and grab some food. The road was super easy to get there and very straight. at one point I saw piles of salt at the side of the road by the ocean that locals were collecting which was cool. The ferry took just over an hour. they also have a "slow ferry" which I believe it takes about 2.5 hours and is more "local" I would have opted to that had I had more time. I finally made it to Masirah island, I only wish I had more time here !! I was blown away by the serene beauty and the culture. I made it to a guest house that night where I got to set my tent up for free by the water and have access to their restaurant and facilities.
