In this Yarn Yakking March #3, I’m chatting about two of my favorite things: RAOCK and charity crafting through Generous Crafters. I go over the RAOCK theme lineup for 2026 month-by-month (think snowflake in January, heart in February, shamrock in March, and all the way through tree or angel in December). If you like having a plan for what you’re making and when, this kind of schedule makes it so much easier to stay motivated and keep blessing people with handmade goodies. I also talk about Generous Crafters 2026 and the kinds of items you can make anytime (washcloths, prayer squares, bookmarks), plus the monthly focus items like March newborn hats and 6-inch granny squares, April kids totes worked flat, and later in the year things like mittens, loveys/amigurumi, hats and scarves, and blankets. My big takeaway is: pick what fits your time, your yarn stash, and your hands—then just keep stitching.
