We Turned a NORMAL Park into a SKATEPARK! (Roll Minnesota)

WE TURNED A NORMAL PARK INTO A SKATEPARK! Earlier this spring, we celebrated the new skating season with a massive skate session and BBQ at Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. Using homemade ramps, rails, boxes, and ledges, we turned the park into a skatepark for the day. There was also a high jump contest and a variety of prizes awarded by Rollerblade throughout the afternoon. In total, over 50 people made it out for the session . . . it was definitely an amazing way to kick off the year! Although the obstacles were small (PVC boxes/rails and a Subrosa rail), the level of skating was pretty intense. Overall, it was a really fun experience and showcased the level of passion and camaraderie alive in our inline skating community.
