THIS TRICK HURT . . . A LOT! (St. Anthony & Shakopee Skatepark)

LEARNING NEW TRICKS IS DANGEROUS! In this episode of Roll Minnesota, I visited two different parks for two different types of practice sessions: high octane tricks at St. Anthony skatepark and switch tricks at Shakopee skatepark. Personally, I find these two approaches to be highly effective for building trick consistency and trick vocabulary. St. Anthony skatepark has always been the best skatepark to learn new tricks. With a perfectly sized grind box, this skatepark is great for working on difficult switch-ups and spinning into grinds with minimal risk. Meanwhile, Shakopee skatepark has a diverse selection of ramps, rails, and ledges. This makes Shakopee a perfect skatepark to develop versatility as a skater, especially when working on switch tricks.
