NEW SKATEPARK DESIGN - What Were They Thinking? Heritage Skatepark in Belle Plaine, Minnesota is definitely an unusual one. Recently, the ground was resurfaced and the ramps were repainted with a high-gloss paint that it incredibly slippery for skating. The park layout is also strange with some questionable ramp placements. I've never seen another skatepark quite like this one. Despite the strange appearance and setup, it was a blast skating this park (lots of line options!). I even enjoyed learning some new tricks and working on other aspects of my skating.
