The Staff of Magnus is MINE! | Skyrim #12

This stream starts with me wandering toward the Boethiah’s Ritual site, where I get suckered into a quest that involves sacrificing a friend, which is just typical for this playthrough. Since I didn’t want to kill Lydia, I head over to Windhelm to find a temporary buddy to betray instead. After a quick walkthrough of that racist town and some intense jewelry crafting that somehow makes me way more powerful, I find Janessa at a tavern and lead her back to the pillar of sacrifice. Things get weird when Boethiah herself shows up and makes us all fight to the death, but since I’m a beast, I come out on top and get sent to Knife Point Ridge to deal with her old champion. My gameplay takes a turn for the stealthy (sort of) as I murder my way through bandits to get the Ebony Mail armor, which basically turns me into a poison-farting shadow. Finally, the flow of the livestream shifts back to the College of Winterhold stuff, taking me through the massive Dwemer ruins of Mzulft. I spend way too long trying to solve an obscure light puzzle with Paratus, only to find out everything is going wrong back at the college. By the time I trudge through Labyrinthian to find the Staff of Magnus and fight off a bone dragon and some spectral draugr, I’m so sleep-deprived I can barely form sentences, but at least I look cool in my new gear.
