In this video I’m installing hood struts on my new Jeep Wrangler, and I’ll just say it up front—this is one of those MUST-have mods for me. I’m building out my 2025 Wrangler with simple, practical upgrades that make day-to-day ownership better, and hood struts are right at the top of that list. No more messing with the factory hood prop rod every time I need to check something under the hood. The whole point here is convenience and ease. Hood struts make opening and closing the hood feel more premium, and they’re especially nice when you’re working in the engine bay, adding mods, or doing basic maintenance.
