Mini Kraton Hot Racing Shocks: Same Handling, Better Durability?

Are Hot Racing aluminum shocks actually an upgrade for the Arrma Mini Kraton 3S, or are they just for looks? I put them to the test to see if they really improve durability. The stock shocks on the Arrma Mini Kraton 3S are notorious for bending shafts and throwing e-clips - while also being too soft for really big jumps.
