Canyon de Chelly National Monument is located in northeastern Arizona and is one of the most amazing places in the world. It's also one of the most underrated destinations in Arizona. Canyon de Chelly is inside the Navajo Nation and is free to explore the rim sites, to go down in the bottom of the canyon, you do require a Navajo guide. The canyon is a geological wonder, and has rich history, being inhabited by Native people for thousands of years. Canyon de Chelly has been a National Monument since 1931 and was one if Ansel Adams (famous B&W photographer) favorite places. The most iconic sight inside the canyon is Spider Rock, which towers 750 ft high. In the video you'll see views from both the South and North Rim Drives, as well as inside the park, showcasing ruins, rock paintings and petroglyphs.
