The plastic parts you mentioned are still undergoing mold tuning, and the battery case hasn’t been painted yet — that’s why it feels a bit less refined. The prototype unit doesn’t have this anodization yet, which is why it currently looks and feels more plasticky. For context: all ultrasonic cutters generate heat and smoke when cutting thick wood due to high-frequency vibration.
