Do Carbon Rims Make Sense On A Jones Bike? | Jones C-Rims Review

I've ridden 29 plus tires for quite a few years now and it's been my favorite tire size ever since the very first ride. While 3" tires are considered the gold standard of plus tires, I've been using the 3.25" Duro Crux tires for long enough to know bigger truly is better. Jones Bikes, a big proponent of plus tires, recently reached out to see if I'd be interested in trying some of their "C-Rims" on my personal LWB. I was intrigued by the super wide 49mm internal rims, but wondered if carbon had it's place on the no-nonsense Jones bike.
