Digitakt II is the final stop in my chain here, and it’s what makes this whole setup feel fast and playable. I can sample the Octatrack, sample my iPad over USB, and even sequence iPad plugins from a MIDI track, then turn that into audio and keep moving.

- -Easy to run into confusing routing/layering if you don’t mute/uncue intentionally
- -MIDI routing can get chaotic if notes/CC are left enabled to other gear
