About This Video

In this video I tested a Walmart “gaming PC” the simplest way possible: I walked in, grabbed the $899 CyberPower GMA7300WST, and took it home to see if it’s actually something you can trust. I’m usually the guy who hates prebuilts—because you never really know what they’re putting in there, sometimes you overpay, and honestly there’s no honor like building your own. But with SSD and RAM prices getting weird lately, I wanted to see if buying a prebuilt right now is secretly the move. I unboxed it, checked the build quality, airflow, and cable management (and yeah… it was surprisingly clean). Inside, it’s rocking a Gigabyte A620M board, a 1TB Crucial NVMe, a single 16GB DDR5 stick, and an ASUS RTX 5060 8GB. I also tested real 4K gaming: Overwatch and Fortnite were over 100 FPS, while heavier games like Battlefield and Red Dead landed in the 40–50 FPS range depending on settings—still playable, but you can feel that 8GB VRAM ceiling in the hardest titles. My biggest complaint was fan noise under load, but performance-wise and value-wise, this Walmart/CyberPower setup actually makes sense—especially when a parts list build comes out pricier once you add Windows.
