#sponsored #FreeProduct Stylish, affordable, and comfortable quality real leather. Angel Jackets Affiliate Product Link: https://shrsl.com/3voso I love leather outerwear and have owned plenty of leather jackets over the years, so when Angel Jackets reached out to me and offered to send me one of theirs to try for free in exchange for an unbiased review, I jumped at the opportunity. The jacket was shipped via FedEx from Pakistan but quickly arrived at my doorstep in the US just three days after it was shipped. The garment arrived packaged in a non-woven fabric dustcover bag with a clear vinyl window at the top, that lets you see what's inside. I ordered the Diamond Maroon Café Racer leather jacket in size extra small (XS), because I have a slim figure with a 35 inch chest and 28 inch waist. There's a tag attached to the hanging loop at the neck which states, “Warranty void if removed,” so be sure to check over the entire jacket and try it on before you cut this tag off in case you need to send it back or exchange it for any reason. Mine, thankfully didn't have any issues or defects that I could find. The jacket has a beautiful dark red/maroon tone with a distressed patina and a very soft and supple feel as its made from lambskin. If this is your first direct to consumer leather product, you may notice a more intense smell than you’d find with store bought leather products, as the jacket is packed and shipped directly from the manufacturer and sealed in an airtight package for several days before getting to you, but I found that hanging the jacket up and letting it air out for several days was enough to allow any odors to dissipate. The Cafe Maroon Racer has a stand collar with a brass snap-tab and a YKK zipper with a 2.5” leather pull which slides open very smoothly. On the inside is a matching maroon lining with a thin layer of interlining, and on both sides are deep side pockets at about mid-torso where you can carry your wallet, gloves, or a flask. On the left-hand side is also a slim phone pocket fashioned out of finished leather that measures about 7" x 4." It's just the right size for most larger smartphones, and my Samsung Galaxy S21 with a slim case fits in it perfectly. The garment tag indicates the materials used are real leather and 100% polyester for the lining, and that it should be dry cleaned only by a specialist. The label patch at the back simply says real leather, which is cool looking, though feels like a missed opportunity for Angel Jackets to place their branding here. I really appreciated the attention to detail, even along the inner seams of the jacket as all the lines and stitching are straight, even and tight, with no loose threads or sloppy handiwork. On the front, you have small breast pockets on both sides and spacious, angled side pockets at the waist. All four pockets are zippered with pulls, though I didn’t love that the pulls kind of awkwardly hang off the zippers; however, you can tuck them under the zipper concealer flaps which I think is worth the extra effort. At the lower hem, are tension cinch buckles on either side, and this allows you to trim up the waist a couple inches, if necessary. At the shoulders is a quilted accent, which I think looks really sexy. There’s a tiny bit of extra padding there to give the pattern some depth and dimension, and it wraps all the way around the upper back, giving it a webbing-like look. The sleeves have elbow pads which add a smidge of extra stretch at those joints to reduce wear, though aren't dual-layered for extra durability. Last but not least are the snap buttons at the cuffs which let you choose a loose or tighter fit on your wrist. The XS size fits my body pretty well as it is not too tight in the chest or shoulders and the sleeve length breaks at my wrists; even buckling the snap at the collar isn’t very constricting on my neck. For reference I weigh 125 lbs and am 5'4". The color and fit gives it a cool vibe which reminds me of Peter Quill/Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy. I will say that it’s a little bit thinner and lighter weight than some of my other leather jackets, which I think will be really nice for spring and fall. The jacket does a nice job holding some warmth close to my body without making me feel hot and sweaty, and there’s plenty of room to layer on a sweater or sweatshirt underneath if needed. The dedicated cellphone pocket was a standout feature for me since it's just so easy to use. Overall, I’d say this is a very nice quality real leather jacket at a reasonable price. The workmanship is clean, the look of it stylish, and the fit is modern and comfortable. Thanks again to Angel Jackets for providing this complimentary jacket to try on and review. I think I’m really going to enjoy wearing this for years to come! Angel Jackets Affiliate Product Link: https://shrsl.com/3voso
