The APO-Summicron-SL 28mm f/2 is a modern classic wide prime that I’d recommend when you want a clean, high-end look with a timeless focal length. The f/2 aperture can give surprisingly tight depth of field up close, and the short minimum focus distance makes wide-angle perspective effects really pop. Optical performance is excellent with sharpness, contrast, and minimal aberrations.
