25 Leica SUPER-VARIO-ELMAR-SL 16–35 f/3.5–4.5 ASPH.
Even though it’s not the absolute widest SL zoom, the 16–35mm is still a super flexible wide-angle workhorse. I like it for landscapes and architectural interiors thanks to the huge viewing angle, plus the close minimum focus distance for exaggerated perspective and separation. Optically it stays sharp across the zoom and aperture range, and the Aquadura coating helps when conditions get nasty.
