I headed out grouse hunting with my dad in New Brunswick — one of those perfect fall days to be out in the woods together. We rode the side-by-side through beautiful trails, looking for ruffed grouse but found another type of grouse, which is pretty rare around here. I’ve only harvested one or two of those grouse in my life, so every encounter feels special.
