How to take doors off jeep wrangler https://www.youtube.com/user/LaSallianMD?sub_confirmation=1 The doors on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited were seized up and would not lift straight off, I don't think the previous owner ever took them off. I read on the Internet that lots of people were having the same problem. So I rigged a simple ratchet system to the garage ceiling to slowly help pull the door off. This worked well for me. Just make sure you pad the bottom of the door against the strap and be careful because the doors are pretty heavy so make sure you are holding them tight when the ratchet starts to lift the door from the hinge. Before you put them back on clean up the hinge pins and put some lubrication grease on to make it easier for next time. This worked well for me, hope it helps someone.
