SHOULD YOU BUY? Aorus RTX 5070 Master Benchmarks & Features Review

Nvidia's RTX 5070 was marketed as being a competitive card to the outgoing RTX 4090, and while that isn't true, the card is decent in its own right for mid range buyers. With the AORUS RTX 5070 Master, Gigabyte's mission was to make a premium card which would be whisper quiet, cool and with decent overclocking headroom. In my testing, I found the cards memory was capable of hitting over 34000gbps memory, running over 3200mhz on the core and doing this while remaining whisper quiet. This review of the Aorus RTX 5070 Master focuses on both 1440P and 4K resolution, across lots of different games including Spider-man 2, Alan wake 2, last of us, Resident Evil 4 remake, Ratchet and Clank and lots of synethic results such as time spy and firestrike. The card performed excellently during my tests and makes a great case for itself as a high refresh rate 1440P card. I would personally not recommend someone with an RTX 4070 (or faster Lovelace) based GPU upgrade to RTX 5070, but those who're coming from an RTX 30 (or older / equiv. AMD card) would see a significant improvement in performance. I also tested MFG (Multi Frame Generation), DLSS Transformer model and other features too. All benchmarks were conducted against the RTX 3070 and RTX 4070 so you can get an idea of generational uplift between the cards. I've not mentioned the pricing of the card, because this premium GPU has pricing all over the place depending on region and retailer. While I do believe MSRP prices will be hit over the next couple of months, mentioning MSRP prices at this point for a premium card is somewhat pointless. As a brief guide, I've seen it around 150-200 pounds more than the 'cheapest' RTX 5070's, but again it's very region and retailer specific.
