China's NVIDIA KILLER Gaming GPU! Lushan Gaming GPU Specs Detailed Moore Threads have announced their new Lushan range of Gaming GPUs, powered by their new architecture known as Flower Harbor. They claim an additional 50 percent compute density, much higher clock frequencies, more shaders, higher memory bandwidth and memory capacity and, significantly more gaming performance. Moore Threads previous GPU, the S90 is about on-part with Nvidia's RTX 4060 graphics card, but Moore Threads claims that the Lushan Range is 15x faster in gaming, 50x faster in ray tracing and 64x in AI. Unfortunately we can't exactly know how performant this new architecture is, because Flower Harbor is a brand new architecture, and Moore Threads haven't provided in-depth benchmarks at this stage. But, assuming their claims are true, Lushan could be anywhere between an RTX 4070TI up to potentiaily and RTX 5080. While that's quite a range, it's best to be a little pessimistic at this stage. The companies drivers have often been the problem, so it isn't just whether the hardware itself is able to compete with Nvidia/AMD but also their software stack.
